Hurting Animals is Not Cool!

Here at Lady Gaga Poodle, we like share tips on taking care of our pets. We also feel it is our duty as pet owners to talk about all topics that concerns animals, including animal abuse. In creating our new segment, Hurting Animals is Not Cool, we want to inform our readers the stories that hardly get paid attention to. We hope to become advocates in preventing animal abuse, therefore, we'll share stories that have caught our attention.



Recently in the Highlander Park Apartment Complexes in Riverside California, a cat was found inside a dryer wrapped in duct tape. Whoever did this turned on the dryer with the cat inside. Luckily a neighbor found the cat and called 911. The cat has several injuries such as a "broken blood vessel in her left eye and a chipped tooth." It is apparent that the cat had a recent litter of kittens, but they have not been found. She will survive, however , she will not be placed for adoption due to the fact her owner may be missing her. This is not the first animal cruelty case occurring in the Highlander Park Apartments. If you have any information, please call iverside County Animal Services at 951-358-7387.
