Dogs and cats are just like humans, especially when it comes to food. Like us they are picky eaters, therefore, we begin to play the game of trial and error to figure out what foods our pets like to eat.
Remember just because they like a certain food doesn't mean they won't have an allergic reaction. Before giving any human food to your pet, please consult your Vet. Here is our list of human foods that is safe for our pets.
Foods must be fed in Moderation
Dogs:
Any type of boneless lean meat such as pork, chicken, and beef is best for a dogs health. There was a contradiction when doing our research, because one source claimed, "Do not feed animal fat to your dog because it's dangerous for their digestive system," while another one claimed, "Its okay to feed your dog animal fat just as long as its done in moderation." Talk to your family vet about this and get their opinion. No raw meat.
