A couple of weeks ago I started a new job and my time for Lady Gaga, Glinda, and Benjy began dwindling. I didn’t make the time to complete Glinda’s training which I realized now I should have completed my commitment.
In the upcoming year, I will be returning back to school. Even though it’s a couple of months away I’m already worried about whom I’m I going to take with me. I wish I could take all three of them, but the truth is, living in an apartment with three pets will smell, and you usually have to pay a fee for having your pet live with you. This decision is a difficult one to make… Each one of my pets has their strengths and weaknesses. Like Benjy, he is the ideal cat for an apartment; however, he poops everywhere and uses his litter box only to pee. Glinda has a similar problem…she loves to pee on my bed sheets! If I am studying or watching a movie, she secretly goes to my room and pees on the sheet. This happens once in a while…like once a month…but still, what will happen if Glinda sneaks into my roommates room and leaves my roomie a surprise on the bed? My neck will be on the line. Even though Lady Gaga is trained to go to the restroom outside, she can be very possessive. Still living with anxiety, Lady Gaga has issues with people, plus she’s really attached to my grannie. I love all three of them equally, but I want to do what’s best for them.
My goal is to find Benjy a loving home, where he can live inside the house and be loved all day. My second goal is to retrain Lady Gaga and Glinda. I noticed after I started working like a mad woman, my dogs began to regress. This is purely my fault because as a responsible pet owner, I should have made time to train them. I’m hoping we can regroup and whoever shows more training will stay with my dad, while, I take the other dog with me, so that I can continue training her.
