Dogs rescued in North Carolina and Idaho

While watching Spanish television with my grandmother, two stories they reported caught my eye. First, a biker in North Carolina called 911 to report a stranded Hound dog who was trapped on a cliff. It took fire fighters more than 48 hours to capture and rescue the dog that appeared shaken and very hungry. I don't know if the Hound was abounded or simply got lost. Either way I am so happy and thankful that these fire fighters took the time and love to capture him. This story reminded me of the beautiful Doberman Pincher I found while walking Lady Gaga and Glinda. Please, if you know someone who wants to get rid of their dog, advice them to drop off their pet at the local animal shelter.

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, a Jack Russel Terrier was rescued in Idaho. Somehow, he/she got stuck inside a drain pipe for 19 hours! Poor dog must have been scared out of his/her wits. I'm glad he/she is both alive and well.
